Creative Writing Workshop with Jo Kukathas - FULLY BOOKED

ILHAM will be organising a two- day creative writing workshop with acclaimed writer and director Jo Kukathas, taking inspiration from the art in the exhibition Afterwork.

Working in the gallery, participants will be encouraged to create new writing inspired by some of the ideas and themes in the exhibition — migration, identity, the idea of ‘home’. These works can ultimately be poems, new pieces for the stage, short stories or reflective essays. Held over two Saturdays in March, there will be time and opportunity to write and then share drafts of the work or just to share and hammer out new ideas. This workshop is open to writers of all levels.
