FILM SCREENING - PANGGILAN LANG

Join us for a special screening of “Panggilan Lang".

During her research of communities in Terengganu last year, artist Cheng Yen Pheng discovered Wau Lang, which is a distinctive type of wau (kite) that is only made and played by a specific community from the kampung areas in Chendering, Terengganu during the monsoon season. She decided to collaborate with traditional performing arts troupe BaiZam Generation to create a brand new Wayang Kulit piece that tells the story of Wau Lang.
