
The ILHAM Student Council began in 2022 as a platform where students across Malaysia can engage in discussions around art and ideas. Each year, new council members will be selected. Through this initiative, members will engage with exclusive programmes designed by ILHAM Gallery to better students’ engagement with arts and culture in general. Over the course of the term, members can expect exclusive tours, workshops and talks with industry professionals. Members will also be given the opportunity to contribute to the gallery from sharing ideas to social media takeovers. Members will be expected to attend monthly meetings in-person or online (time and dates to be determined). Kindly note that the gallery will schedule these meet-ups in accordance with the selected students’ school schedule to the best of our ability. In order to accommodate more students, the programme can accommodate language preferences of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Participation Requirements:
- Members must be between the ages of 14 - 18.
- Have a genuine interest in learning more about art and the art world.
- Can commit to monthly meetings.
