Join us as we discuss the setting up of the multidisciplinary art festival presented by Artist Pro Activ (APA), a non-partisan group of artists established in response to the socio-political events in 1998. The APA festival ran from 27 October to 15 November 1998 and presented a wide range of events, from theatre performances and art exhibitions to film screenings. The aim was to encourage the free flow of ideas while holding onto the belief that the arts community should come together again and take a more concerted, pro-active role in developing a more open society, without fear or favour. The panel will be led by the APA Festival producers Kathy Rowland and Susie Kukathas.
