The internationally acclaimed Kuala Lumpur Photoawards (KLPA) is one of the most respected fixtures in the global photographic calendar and the only prominent contest based in Southeast Asia. Since its inception in 2009, the Awards has attracted some of the best international photographers in every genre, from photojournalism and documentary to fine art.

Now in its 11th year, the Awards presents the 50 finalist portraits from the  Open and Theme categories for 2019. The theme for this year is Unyielding Gaze.
