We are delighted to announce that an iteration of our exhibition, The Plantation Plot, which was presented at ILHAM Gallery, Kuala Lumpur from 20 April - 28 September 2025 in collaboration with KADIST, will be travelling to Paris as part of an ongoing collaboration between our two institutions.
The exhibition which explores the social, political, and economic afterlives of gloval plantation systems, approahing the plantation as both historical structure and narrative space, is curated by emerging Malaysian curator Lim Sheau Yun.
Through film, installation, photography, and more, the artists featured in this edition of the exhibition include CATPC (Cercle d'art travailleurs de plantation in congolaise), Kelly Sinnapah Mary, Thu-Van Tran, Basma al-Sharif, Nguyen Phuong Linh, Noara Quintana, and Diane Severin Nguyen. Also included in the exhibition are the works of three Malaysian artists - Gogularajaan Rajendran, Izat Arif, and Minstrel Kuik.
